USSD Server Bridge for SMEVend is now Live!

We are pleased to introduce USSD Server Bridge for SMEVend! This service is also known as SMEVend Bridge. This feature allows you to use your existing USSD Server to connect to SMEVend without needing to reintegrate SMEVend separately.

Many of our clients have mentioned that one issue preventing them from taking advantage of the low price SMEVend offers is the need to reach out to their developer, pay and wait for integration. We have taken steps to remove this bottleneck with the SMEVend bridge.

SMEVend bridge provides responses and callbacks similar to one provided via the USSD API. The callback is also sent to the URL set for the USSD API. With the bridge, you no longer need to reintegrate SMEVend. It just works.

You can use any of your existing servers as the bridge. Preferably the server you are currently using to vend SME Data. The server does not need to be active or have active hosting.

The exciting part is if the server has active hosting. The server's period as a bridge will not be counted towards the hosting period. The server hosting will be paused during the period.
